The sanctioned police torture in a seeming CIA-like secret torture safe house was pretty hard to believe - not that I find it hard to believe cops would torture someone to get the info they want, but the way in which it's done in this film is just not believable. The ironic thing about the female agent and [spoiler] her extralegal actions at the end of the film, is that she is primarily motivated to bring down this cartel because her sister and brother-in-law died from some of the tainted cocaine, but the person she kills (almost like petulant revenge, after failing to apprehend anyone else) is the one guy who was trying to figure out who was cutting the coke with lethal shit, and to put a stop to it (damaging the cartel brand, not good for business if your customers keep dying). So she actually murdered the guy who had gone to great lengths to ensure what happened to her sister (and others) wouldn't happen again. Just one of the many logical flaws with this okay-ish film.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
