This 'Skin Trade' Trailer Illustrates Why You Never Blow Up Dolph Lundren's Family

You never blow up Dolph Lundgren’s family, that lesson should be day one of Movie Villain 101. It’s not going to end well for you, it just isn’t. And if you manage to involve Tony Jaa, at this point you’re digging your own grave. These are the basic pieces of information you learn from the new trailer for the Ekachai Uekrongtham-directed actioner Skin Trade that just hit over at Yahoo.

Lundgren stars as Nick Cassidy, a driven detective who is on the trail of Serbian gangster and notorious human trafficker, Viktor Dragovic (Ron Perlman). He must be getting close, because as you in this footage, his home gets rocket launchered and his daughter kidnapped. To get her back he Cassidy must join forces with Tony Vitakayui (Jaa), a Thai detective with a penchant for kneeing people through walls. Together they tear down the criminal network, and get a healthy dose of revenge in the process. And if that’s somehow not enough, RoboCop himself, Peter Weller, shows up, as does Michael Jai White as an FBI agent sent to bring Cassidy home. It’s like everything I’ve ever wanted in a movie.

Magnet Releasing is handling the distribution, and Skin Trade hits VOD on April 23, with a theatrical run on May 8. Check out the trailer below, when Tony Jaa says, “Negotiation…over,” and drops that dude off of a balcony, I may have cheered.
