The BoneBat Comedy Of Horrors 2026 Lineup Is Here And As Wild As Ever

skeleton astronaut
It’s springtime in Seattle, which means it’s either sunny and glorious outside or rainy as all hell. Either way, it’s the perfect time to spend a Saturday in a dark movie theater watching  horror movies. And let’s be honest, probably drinking. That’s right, the annual BoneBat Comedy of Horrors film festival is once again upon us.

For the uninitiated, this marks 15th (holy crap, it’s a teenager!) installment of one of the region’s best, most unique cinematic experiences. We’re talking a whole-ass day filled with blocks of comedy-horror shorts, a handful of features, and even a few musical interludes thrown in for good measure. It’s always a rowdy, raucous time, and I don’t expect this year to be any different. (There is an official beer sponsor, after all.)

It all goes down Saturday, April 11 at the venerable SIFF Uptown. Get your tickets here and get ready to strap in, it’s going to be a hoot.

On the docket for BoneBat 2026 are the Seattle premieres of a pair of features. First up, there’s The Demonatrix:

“A Mexican priest comes to the aid of his good friend and neighbor, a dominatrix, when she unwittingly summons an incubus demon.”

And for those fans of 2015’s heavy metal horror extravaganza, Deathgasm, there’s the long-in-the-works sequel, Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon, to singe your eyebrows:

“When Brodie, a washed-up metalhead, resurrects his dead bandmates for a battle-of-the-bands, the result unleashes riffs, gore, and apocalyptic carnage only DEATHGASM can deliver.”

On the shorts side of things there’s a veritable smorgasbord on which to feast. They typically run the gamut from slick and highly polished to the low-brow and goopy. One thing’s for sure, however, there will be buckets and buckets of blood. Check out the playlist:
