'Boyka: Undisputed' (2016) Movie Review

Fans of direct-to-video action know Scott Adkins well, and know well that he rules over that particular roost. They also know that his Undisputed films sit at or at least very near the top of the mountain in terms of quality, awesomeness, and general badassery. And the long-awaited fourth installment, Boyka: Undisputed, is just the kick in the face that fans have been after.

I maintain that if he’d been born a generation earlier, we’d speak about Scott Adkins in hushed, reverent tones reserved for the legends of the action realm. But an accident of birth doesn’t make his movies any less badass or me anticipate them any less. Next up, he returns to his best known franchise for Boyka: Undisputed, the fourth installment in the franchise, and with the release approaching, Millennium Films released a new clip and trailer.

Anytime you mention the names Scott Adkins and IsaacFlorentine in the same breath, you have my undivided attention. Whenever the two team up, like with Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, it’s a monumental occasion, but when it’s for Boyka: Undisputed, their third Undisputed film (the fourth overall), well goddamn, I get fully stoked.
