With the likes of Baskin and Housewife on his CV, Turkish director Can Evrenol has proven more than adept at crafting straight up nightmare fuel in the form of horror movies. While his latest, Girl With No Mouth, looks dark and strange, it appears to fall more into the fairy tale or fable category than whatever the hell family his other films belong to. Check out a new trailer below.

'Housewife' Trailer: 'Baskin' Director Returns To Deliver Even More Horrific Nightmares
Hey horror fans, if you didn’t start paying attention to
Turkish director Can Evrenol after his debut, Baskin, you
may want to change that. If not, the trailer for his follow up, Housewife,
should certainly pique your interest. I’ll wait.

'Baskin' (2016) Movie Review
A tense, brutal, expectation defying supernatural nightmare,
director Can Evrenol’s feature debut, Baskin, is the kind of
movie that haunts your dreams and keeps you up at night. There is quite a bit
to set this apart and elevate it from its peers, but with the level of
brutality and straight-up meanness, Baskin is chiefly going
to be for the hardcore horror hounds out there. Simply due to some of the
imagery and the aesthetics, it’s difficult not to invoke Pascal Laugier’s
Martyrs.
