With the likes of Baskin and Housewife on his CV, Turkish director Can Evrenol has proven more than adept at crafting straight up nightmare fuel in the form of horror movies. While his latest, Girl With No Mouth, looks dark and strange, it appears to fall more into the fairy tale or fable category than whatever the hell family his other films belong to. Check out a new trailer below.

'Housewife' Trailer: 'Baskin' Director Returns To Deliver Even More Horrific Nightmares
Hey horror fans, if you didn’t start paying attention to
Turkish director Can Evrenol after his debut, Baskin, you
may want to change that. If not, the trailer for his follow up, Housewife,
should certainly pique your interest. I’ll wait.

Turkish Horror 'Siccin 4' Drops A Terrifying New Trailer
I’ve said it here before, but it bears repeating and is no
less true today, but Turkey isn’t currently fucking around when it comes to
horror. Over the last few years, I’ve written about the
Siccin movies, and there’s now a bonkers-ass trailer for
Siccin 4 to warp your fragile little horror-loving mind. (I
apparently missed Siccin 3 somewhere along the line.)

Watch This Trailer For Turkish Horror 'Uc Harfliler 3' And Give Up Hope Of Sleeping Tonight
When you think of international horror, Turkey may not be the
first name that pops up, but lately there has been a terrifying wave of
crazy-ass genre fare from the Eurasian nation that’s made many aficionados take
notice. Watch Baskin, just do it. You may not know Alper
Mestçi yet, but you may want to take notice and check out the trailer for the
director’s latest, Üç Harfliler 3.

'Baskin' (2016) Movie Review
A tense, brutal, expectation defying supernatural nightmare,
director Can Evrenol’s feature debut, Baskin, is the kind of
movie that haunts your dreams and keeps you up at night. There is quite a bit
to set this apart and elevate it from its peers, but with the level of
brutality and straight-up meanness, Baskin is chiefly going
to be for the hardcore horror hounds out there. Simply due to some of the
imagery and the aesthetics, it’s difficult not to invoke Pascal Laugier’s
Martyrs.

The Trailer For Turkish Horror 'SICCIN 2' Is Gnarly
I don’t speak a word of Turkish, so I have no idea what is
going on in this trailer for SICCIN 2, but holy shit,
whatever it is, it’s gnarly as hell. This is a rough watch. Seriously, there
are creepy dolls, blood, evisceration, and all the usual horror movie
trappings, but there are also what appear to be graphic suicides (including
ingesting boiling food stuffs), the deep frying of babies, and assorted other
nasty bits. Check it out for yourself below, you’ve been warned.
