'Diablo' (2025) Movie Review

scott adkins holding up his hand.
A team up between star Marko Zaror and director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza already has my attention. The duo is responsible for Redeemer, Fist of the Condor, Mandrill, and more face-kicking excellence, and Zaror is, for my money, the most unsung martial arts movie badass working today. One way to up the ante is to add Scott Adkins into the mix, like they do in their latest, Diablo, and hot damn. This was on my most-anticipated list for good reason, and it delivers the goods.

'Fight Or Flight' (2025) Movie Review

josh hartnett looking like a lunatic on an plane
Fight or Flight, the feature debut from veteran second unit director James Madigan, falls into a category of action comedies populated by recent titles like Bullet Train, Love Hurts, Day Shift, Killer’s Game, and others, that juxtapose brutal violence with quips, winking jokes, and silliness of all stripes. Think the carnage of John Wick with goofy, almost campy comedy beats. It's messy, it’s all over the place, it’s a tonal mishmash, and there’s a chainsaw on an airplane for literally no reason other than it’s awesome (and it is), but it’s also a good amount of fun.

'Fist Of The Condor' (2023) Movie Review

When star Marko Zaror and writer/director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza team up, you damn well better believe we’re paying attention. When this Chilean duo gets together, we get movies like Kiltro, Mandrill, and Redeemer, among others, and rarely does Zaror get to shine as brightly as he does in these films. (Unless he’s facing off against Scott Adkins.) And their latest venture, Fist of the Condor, delivers just what fans want and expect.

'Savage Dog' Trailer: Watch Scott Adkins And Marko Zaror Pummel 1950s Goons In The Jungle

This probably isn’t surprising to anyone, but I’ve kept a close eye on the Scott Adkins/Marko Zaror-starring action joint Savage Dog since the first rumblings. Come on, it stars Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror. That alone is enough to make me watch anything. I’d watch them sitting around drinking coffee and chatting about the weather. Fortunately, there’s way more to Savage Dog than that, as confirmed by this new trailer.

Scott Adkins And Marko Zaror Actioner 'Savage Dog' Drops A Period Appropriate Poster

I’m always game for a new Scott Adkins movie. And I’m always game for a new Marko Zaror movie. Put them together, like in the upcoming period actioner Savage Dog, and I start salivating like, well, a hungry dog. Currently in production, a new marketing poster for the film appeared on the airwaves. Check it out below.

UPDATED: Marko Zaror's New Movie Sounds Totally Badass

UPDATE: According to director Daniel Zirilli's Facebook page, the film is called Affinity. That doesn't really tell us much, but it's nice to know.

ORIGINAL POST: Along with a small handful of others, Marko Zaror stands at the top of the current heap when it comes to gritty, bone-breaking, face-kicking action movies. And he’s got another suitably badass project in the works and lined up to shoot this November.

Scott Adkins And Marko Zaror Team Up To Pummel Dudes In 'Savage Dog'

If you haven’t had any good news yet today (that Michael B. Jordan/Black Panther news is pretty sweet), don’t worry, I have some for you. Two of the baddest dudes currently working in movies, ScottAdkins and Marko Zaror, are getting back together for a movie called Savage Dog. There’s not actually much more to tell, but god damn, isn’t that enough for you?

This Amazing 'Redeemer' Clip Kicks Everyone In The Face

Looking at Redeemer it’s like they made this movie just for me. A straightforward premise—there are bad guys, but when an ever worse guys shows up, shit gets interesting—and badass action combines into what is a movie I need to watch very soon.

Watch Marko Zaror Kick The Hell Out Of Everyone In This 'Redeemer' Trailer

Along with the likes of Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, and Tony Jaa, Chilean martial artist Marko Zaror is one of the baddest men currently working in action cinema. Up until now, he’s largely been relegated to smaller roles and random villain parts in these mostly DTV genre flicks, but now with Redeemer he gets to take center stage. And watching this new trailer this is going to be something you need to see, and well worth the wait.
