Marky Mark is sick of coddling all the pussies and his new
movie is here to prove that. I don’t exactly know how that ties into his new action
movie, Mile 22, but the Trump pal once again teams up with
director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon) for some rah-rah, flag-waving, manly shit. And they, of
course, can’t help but getting a jab in at people with feelings (AKA the
aforementioned pussies) at the start of this new trailer.
Watching Furious 7, the latest
installment of the adrenaline-fueled Fast & Furious
franchise, you get the distinct impression that, when faced with a creative
choice, the filmmakers paused to ask themselves, “What’s the most insane, over
the top thing we can do here?” And then they went ahead and did that. For a
series of films that, especially over the last few chapters, has been a
continual escalation in physics-defying stunts, Furious 7
takes it to an entirely new level, and the result is a damn lot of fun.
At UFC 184 last weekend, Ronda Rousey demonstrated again
that she’s easily the best women’s MMA fighter in the world by defeating clear-cut
number one contender Cat Zingano in 14 seconds. 14 seconds. Hell, she’s the
most dominant champ in the sport in any division, male or female. She’s also
following in the footsteps of Gina Carano and kicking a lot of ass on the big
screen as well. Last summer she showed up in Expendables 3,
next months joins Vin Diesel and company in Furious 7, and
we just heard a report that she’s teaming up with Iko Uwais, one of the baddest
and most underrated action stars in the world.
