James Franco's Long-Lost 'Zeroville' Adaptation Finally Gets A Release

Fun fact, the very first cease and desist order I ever received was for sharing a trailer to James Franco’s Zeroville a few years ago. The film premiered in 2015 at the Toronto International Film Festival but has been lost in distribution hell ever since thanks to financial troubles. But it’s finally going to see the light of day later this year. Unless something else goes wrong. Which, given the film’s track record, it probably will.

Produced for a modest sum, and with a worldwide box office haul of more than $270 million, it’s two years later and the no-brainer sequel is here to strengthen Rogen’s dad brand.

'The Interview' Movie Review: Fun But Will Be Remembered For Reasons Other Than The Movie

If you’re a fan of the humor in movies like This is the End and Pineapple Express, you’ll enjoy the Seth Rogen and James Franco-starring The Interview. If not, you probably won’t find much to your liking. It’s a film full of that broad, crass, bro-style humor that these guys are most known for, and it’s fun, with a ballsy hook, but it’s nothing earth shattering, and is only going to be remembered as the movie that pissed off a petulant little dictator and got Sony hacked all to hell.

'Neighbors' Movie Review

“Neighbors” is the big, raunchy, R-rated comedy you were hoping for this summer. Seth McFarlane’s “How to Die in the West” may challenge for that crown, but it has an uphill battle, because Nicholas Stoller’s latest film is a total, uproarious blast. Delightfully foul—like a dildo fighting, baby chewing on a used condom filthy—this is better written than you expect out of this kind of movie, and really better than it has any right to be. Normally, comparing a movie to a classic is a sure sign that it is nowhere near as good as the benchmark, but you can’t help but imagine that “Neighbors” is going to get called this generation’s “Animal House.” And it very well might be. If nothing else, it will make you laugh your ass off from beginning to end.
