Even More New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Footage, This Is Getting Ridiculous

This is starting to get a little ridiculous. Not that I don’t love getting new looks at Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but damn near every day we’re getting yet another glimpse of as-yet unrevealed footage or behind-the-scenes peek (not to mention the upcoming a capella tribute to Star Wars scheduled for the American Music Awards broadcast?), and that includes today, with another hot-off-the-presses TV spot.

There’s not a ton here we haven’t seen before, but there are a couple new clips, including a massive explosion, and what I suspect is the hideout belonging to Maz Kanata, the thousand-year-old space pirate played in performance capture by Lupita Nyong’o, being bludgeoned by the forces of the First Order, the new incarnation of the Empire. Make of it what you will.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens everywhere December 18. Check out the new TV spot and a behind-the-scenes feature below.
