'Jungle Cruise' (2021) Movie Review
One thing I did not expect was for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, their latest cinematic adaptation of one of a classic theme park rides, to begin with an orchestral arrangement of a Metallica song. But here were are, though that’s as edgy as this movie ever gets.

This 'Antlers' Trailer Has A Horrifying Secret
So, Antlers was already on my radar, vaguely as it’s a few months off. Still, a horror movie from director Scott Cooper (Hostiles, Out of the Furnace), producer Guillermo del Toro (The Devil’s Backbone), and starring Keri Russell (The Americans) and Jesse Plemons (Game Night) certainly warrants at least a modicum of attention. Better yet, it also has cannibals. But damn, this first trailer took the anticipation knob and cranked it to eleven.

'American Made' (2017) Movie Review
After watching American Made, I’m
convinced Tom Cruise needs to work with Doug Liman way more often. Which isn’t
much of a reach, as the actor/director combo has the sci-fi adventure
Luna Park on the slate in the near future. But between this
and Edge of Tomorrow, or whatever title you prefer, Cruise—who
I maintain is the last great traditional movie star we have left—hasn’t been this
good in years.
