The 2017 Seattle Film Critics Society Awards Nominations

As 2017 wraps up (high fives to everyone for making it through this clusterfuck of a year!) it’s that time where groups and guilds and collections of people who watch a lot of movies get together to vote for the best of the year. I’m fortunate enough to be a part of a couple of these groups (because my opinion is the best one, obviously), including the newly minted Seattle Film Critics Society.

I’m a bit behind the curve on this, the nominations were announced earlier this week, but I was out of town and doing, you know, stuff. But what the hell, here is the full list of nominees for the 2017 Seattle Film Critics Society Awards.

I voted for some of these, I most decidedly did not vote for others. (Seriously, the worst thing about this particular award season is being reminded how much I hate The Lost City of Z, fuck that movie).

If you care about such things, the winners will be announced on Monday, December 18 at 9 AM Pacific Time (we are in Seattle, after all) via the SFCS Twitter handle. Or check back here, I’m sure I’ll write something up about the champs.
