'The Amusement Park' (2021) Movie Review

george romero's amusement park
When you think you’re going to get a straightforward educational video but you hire George Romero for the project and wind up instead with a hellish nightmare. That’s exactly how The Amusement Park came into existence. And it is truly a demented feel-bad artifact.

'Jakob's Wife' (2021) Movie Review

barbara crampton looking badass
Jakob’s Wife has it all. Barbara Crampton. Larry Fessenden. Priests. Vampires. Rats. Splatter. The line, “I’m going to tongue fuck a hole in your neck until I puke blood.” Concrete Blonde. 'Lucky' (2020) Movie Review

Brea Grant Horror Movie
Self-help writer May (Brea Grant) isn’t caught in a tried and true time-loop, but she may as well be. Every night, a masked man breaks into her house and tries to kill her. She fights him off, he disappears, the cops show up. Every night. Over time, the terrifying home invasion gives way to frustration and eventually becomes rote, routine as she tries to figure out what the hell is going on and why no one, including her husband, Ted (Dhruv Uday Singh), seems concerned by this. Such is life in director Natasha Kermani’s horror thriller Lucky.
