'Mad Max: Fury Road' Blu-Ray Trailer Asks Who Killed The World

You may or may not have noticed, but Mad Max: Fury Road is one of my favorite movies of the year—maybe number one, easily top five (and I hate ranking movies). After tear-assing through theaters worldwide, it’s getting ready to wreak havoc on home video, and to mark the occasion, Warner Bros. released this new Blu-ray trailer.

Fury Road is the most eyebrow-scorching, nerve-jangling action spectacle you’ve seen maybe ever, and makes every second of the 30 years it took George Miller between Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and this totally worth the wait. The post-apocalyptic wastes are full of badass battlewagons, fierce warriors, and practical stunts. There’s fire shooting out of damn near everything, it’s basically one long chase scene with awesome explosions, a strong feminist undercurrent, and a title hero who barely fucking speaks. It’s all you’ve ever wanted in a movie.

Mad Max: Fury Road hits the digital market on August 11 and drops on Blu-ray September 1. What a lovely day that will be. Check out the trailer below.
