'Daredevil' Season 2 Gets A Trailer And Release Date

It’s no secret that Daredevil is my all-time favorite comic book, and after the travesty that was the Ben Affleck fronted movie, Marvel and Netflix got it right with their dark, gritty series. Season 2 is on the way, and now we have a new trailer and a concrete release date.

It’s the March 18 release date that we’re really excited for (one week before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters). We knew it was on the way, but now we know when we can binge on the further adventures of Matt Murdock, also known as the Man Without Fear.

The trailer is fine, more a tease than offering anything new. We know that we’re going to get Frank Castle/The Punisher, Elektra Natchios, and see Matt become the hero he ultimately is in the comics, and all of that is great news to us.

Here’s a synopsis of Daredevil Season 2:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Daredevil Season 2 drops in full on Netflix on March 18. Plan accordingly and watch the trailer below.
