Okay, with the sheer amount of promotion we’ve seen for
Furious 7 over the last couple weeks, you’d think it was
right around the corner, not two months off. But I’m completely okay with that,
and any day that a ridiculous action movie I’m super stoked about wants to drop
an insane new trailer, well that’s a good day in my world. This may be an
extended version of what you saw during the Super Bowl, but who cares, it’s
still way, way nuts.
This latest adventure finds Brian (Paul Walker), Dom (Vin
Diesel), and the rest fighting their deadliest foe yet: Jason Statham. And if
Kurt Russell can be believed—and why wouldn’t you believe Kurt Russell, the man
is a damn national treasure—he doesn’t play by your rules. Throw in Ronda
Rousey, Tony Jaa, a car jumping from skyscraper to skyscraper, and The Rock
getting blasted out of a window from like ten stories up and nothing
particularly bad happening to him, and you have the makings of a damn fine
movie.
Furious 7 hits theaters April 3. We
should all probably just take a long nap until then.
