Remakes, remakes, blah, blah, whatever. It’s all been said
before, and no matter what, I’m all kinds of jazzed for Luca Guadagnino’s
remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror fave Suspiria, even if
it is two-and-a-half hours long. And this new trailer only makes me want it
more. Take a gander after the jump.

'Suspiria' Trailer: Dakota Johnson Dances Into Darkness
Susupiria is arguably horror legend Dario Argento’s greatest work. So, of course there were grumblings from the faithful
when a remake was announced. That’s just what happens in these situations. What
we’ve seen thus far looks creepy and witchy and weird, and early reactions to
footage have been overwhelmingly positive. But that’s all second hand and
hearsay, at least until now. Amazon dropped the first trailer for Luca
Guadagnino’s Suspiria and it looks pretty rad.

'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising' (2016) Movie Review
Back in 2014, Neighbors became a hit and
marked, if not a maturation of Seth Rogen and his foul-mouthed comedy style, at
least a shift towards more mature thematic concerns, particularly those of
fatherhood and marriage. Produced for a modest sum, and with a worldwide box
office haul of more than $270 million, it’s two years later and the no-brainer
sequel is here to strengthen Rogen’s dad brand.

Movie Review: 'The 5th Wave'
The latest entry into the based-on-a-popular-young-adult-novel,
teenage-girl-saves-the-world cinema sweepstakes, The 5th
Wave, is a mixed bag. It’s roughly a third of total meh, a
third stuff I legit liked, and a third the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. Not in
an intentional way.

'Primer' Director Shane Carruth's Big-Budget Action Film 'The Modern Ocean' Has An Insane Cast
If you weren’t already pumped as all hell for Shane
Carruth’s upcoming big budget action movie The Modern Ocean—and let’s be fair, just the fact that he’s not taking nine
years between directorial projects is worth getting excited for—he’s putting together
an insane cast.
