'The Matrix Resurrections' (2021) Movie Review
In 1999, the Wachowski’s rewrote the cinematic game plan with The Matrix. Big and brash, the influence on movies remains palpable and omnipresent today. The subsequent sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions, are overstuffed, messy, and divisive—and still awesome despite being way up their own asses. Now, almost 20 years after the fact, Lana Wachowski, operating solo at the helm for the first time, is back with the long-awaited The Matrix Resurrections. And the results are mixed. At times this is exciting and fresh; at others, it’s a painfully dreary rehash.

'Bill & Ted Face The Music' Gets A New Trailer, Release Date, And Release Strategy
COVID-19 continues to rewrite the world, especially here in the U.S. because we’re too cool to wear masks and not flood public spaces the second the weather got nice. It’s affected every industry, and the entertainment industry is no different. With theaters closed, limited, or closing, and most productions halted, everything is delayed. Studios and distributors are scrambling to find new, profitable ways to get their films in front of audiences. One movie that’s shifted its plans is Bill & Ted Face the Music. The long-gestating sequel has a new release date and new strategy, and a new trailer to mark the occasion.

'Bill & Ted Face The Music' Trailer Reminds Us To Be Excellent To Each Other
As bleak as 2020 has been, we could all use a touch of hope, optimism, and to be a bit more excellent to each other. Which is part of why we’re so excited for Bill & Ted Face the Music, the long-in-development third chapter in the Bill & Ted saga. (Also, because the first two rank among our favorite films of all time.) Face the Music is still slated to open this summer—we’ll see how that goes—and now we have our first trailer. Check it out, dudes.

This 'John Wick 3' Trailer Puts A Target On John Wick
So, he’s thinking he’s back…for a third time. This May, Keanu Reeves puts on his meticulously tailored suit, scruffy beard, and shoots
everyone in the head. Again. I couldn’t be more excited. And to that end, watch
the latest trailer for John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum.

This 'John Wick 3' Trailer Prepares For War And Cute Dogs
Oh dang, I got a late start this morning and what happens? There’s a damn John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum (that’s an unwieldy mouthful of a title) trailer to gawk at like a slack-jawed yokel. At this point, what needs to be said about the best action franchise currently on the market? (Sorry, Mission: Impossible, you’re great, too.) Just give this a spin below.

John Wick 3 Casts A Bunch Of Stars, Gets Exponentially More Badass
What would a movie about a hitman on the run be without a bunch
of people to shoot? John Wick has never had a lack of targets, and the upcoming
John Wick: Chapter 3—possibly titled John Wick:
Parabellum—just added a crazy ton of actors. The list includes Halle
Berry, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas, Asia Kate Dillon, Mark Dascascos, and
most importantly, at least from my perspective, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif
Rahman from The Raid and Man of Tai Chi
and Triple Threat star Tiger Chen.

'Bill & Ted 3' Will Actually Happen, Apparently
Talk about a third Bill & Ted movie
has been going around for years. It’s one of those things that I never actually
thought would happen—and one I’ve never been entirely sure I wanted, as the
first two are perfect, and that comic sequel was good enough for me—but it’s
apparently official: Bill & Ted Face the Music is
officially a go. And despite any misgivings, that’s excellent news.
'John Wick 3' Has Started Shooting. All Is Right With The World
Round these parts, we’re pretty jazzed up for John
Wick: Chapter 3. Or any John Wick movie for that
matter. We saw a first plot synopsis a few weeks back, but now the film has
started shooting and that’s the best news we’ve heard all day.

'John Wick: Chapter 3' Plot Synopsis Has Keanu Reeves Thinking He's Back, Again
Over the last few years, action fans have been blessed with
two installments in the John Wick franchise. It’s easily the
biggest and best action series going. (We can debate the best portion of that
statement, but as far as this style of non-superhero, non-giant-robot action
goes, it’s by far the biggest—most of this ilk heads straight to DTV.) Thank
whatever higher power you prefer, John Wick: Chapter 3 is on
the way, and it now has a first synopsis.

Ana Lily Amirpour's 'The Bad Batch' Trailer Had Me At 'Keanu Reeves As A Post-Apocalyptic Cult Leader'
Twee indie Iranian vampire western A Girl WalksHome Alone at Night is a goddamned masterpiece, so, of course,
anything writer/director Ana Lily Amirpour does next is high on my list. It
doesn’t hurt my feelings at all that her next movie is a weird-as-hell
post-apocalyptic cannibal joint. And the latest trailer for The Bad Batch does nothing but sell me.

'The Bad Batch' Trailer: Post-Apocalyptic Wastelands, Cannibals, And Cult Leader Keanu Reeves
After A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, I’m
game for anything Ana Lily Amirpour does. And if that happens to be a visit to
a tense, moody, post-apocalyptic dystopia where Keanu Reeves goes deep-dive
mustachioed cult leader, even better. Check out the first trailer for
The Bad Batch below.

'John Wick: Chapter 2' (2017) Movie Review
As long as villains keep making the absolute worst choice
imaginable, messing with John Wick—seriously, never fuck with the guy the
movie’s named after—and as long as the result is even a fraction as great as
the franchise has been thus far, I will continue to drool over these films. I
hope they never leave him alone.

New 'John Wick: Chapter 2' Trailer Has No Idea What's Coming
Bad guys, apparently you didn’t get the message the first
time, but you really, really, need to stop messing with John Wick. It’s not
going to end well. To be fair, I hope you never learn this lesson, since that
would make John Wick: Chapter 2 the last in the saga of the reluctant
hitman, and I don’t that to happen because this new trailer and poster look amazing.

John Wick Works On Retirement In The First 'John Wick: Chapter 2' Trailer
Don’t mind that noise, that’s just the sound of me in the corner squealing with glee at the first footage from John Wick: Chapter 2. I won’t waste your time with words on an important occasion like this. Check it out for yourself below.

First 'John Wick 2' Photo Shows Keanu Reeves And His Dog Out For A Stroll
Losing a pet is traumatic. For those of us who will never
have kids, it’s as close to losing a child as we’ll ever get. It sent John Wick
on kill-crazy rampage in the movie of the same name. But, like for all of us,
the time comes to move on, and in the first image John Wick: Chapter Two, it looks like the former-assassin-turned-unretired-dog-avenger
has done just that.

'The Bad Batch' Clips: Check Out Ana Lily Amirpour's Indie Post Apocalyptic Dystopia
Did I jump the gun a bit putting Ana Lily Amirpour’s
black-and-white, pseudo-western, Iranian vampire indie A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night on my Top 25 Movies of the Century So Far list?
Probably. But I love the shit out of that movie. And I am, understandably,
excited for her follow up, The Bad Batch. It just debuted at
Venice (with an appearance at both Fantastic Fest and the Toronto International
Film Festival on the horizon), and we’ve got two new clips to gawk at and
salivate over.

NSFW 'The Neon Demon' International Trailer Has Keanu Reeves And A Mountain Lion
Isn’t this always the case? We go for what feels like
forever not seeing much from a movie that we’re super pumped for, and when we
get the first splash it turns into a wave. I sincerely hope that’s what’s
happening with Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon. Just yesterday
we got the very first trailer, and today we woke up to a quick new U.K. teaser.
Heads up, if you’re on the clock, maybe check to make sure your boss isn’t
looking over your shoulder, this one’s a wee bit NSFW.

The First Trailer For Nicolas Winding Refn's 'The Neon Demon' Is Dark, Sexy, And Twisted
One of the things I look forward to like little else is the arrival
of a new Nicolas Winding Refn movie. His latest, The NeonDemon, is, understandably, a film I’ve been keeping an eye on for
quite some time. Though it hits later this year, we haven’t seen much, aside
from a handful of stills and posters. That is, until today. The first trailer
for the modeling-world-set horror thriller just dropped, and it’s dark, sexy,
and twisted. Check it out after the jump.

Nicolas Winding Refn's 'The Neon Demon' Gets Two Gorgeous New Posters
Anytime Nicolas Winding Refn makes a movie, it’s an event
that will have my full, undivided attention. The director of
Drive, Only God Forgives,
Bronson, Valhalla Rising, and more is a
damn hit factory, so I’m understandably excited for The Neon Demon, which just dropped two slick new posters.

'John Wick 2' Gets A Suitably Badass Official Synopsis
Without a doubt, John Wick was my
favorite movie of 2014. It wasn’t even close. This is the kind of
stripped-down, no frills action I grew up on and that all-too-rarely gets made
these days, especially outside of the DTV realm. It doesn’t hurt that, in the
hands of former stunt coordinators-turned-directors David Leitch and Chad
Stahelski, the fight scenes and gun battles were magnificently staged, shot,
and executed. John Wick: Chapter 2 is in the works, and
while there have only been hints and clues about the story, we now have an
official synopsis.
