'John Wick 3' Has Started Shooting. All Is Right With The World

Round these parts, we’re pretty jazzed up for John Wick: Chapter 3. Or any John Wick movie for that matter. We saw a first plot synopsis a few weeks back, but now the film has started shooting and that’s the best news we’ve heard all day.

New 'High Life' Photos: Claire Denis, Robert Pattinson, And Sci-Fi

Not to be confused with the “Champagne of Beers,” Claire Denis’ Robert Pattinson-starring sci-fi drama High Life is a movie we’re rather excited about around these parts. It’s been in the works since 2015, and though we haven’t seen a ton from film, it has our full attention. And a handful of lovely new stills arrived on the scene today.

'Alien: Covenant' Cast Photo: Meet The Delicious People The Xenomorphs Get To Devour

Oh man, I sure hope the Xenomorphs in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Alien: Covenant are super hungry. The production just released a photo of the whole case and it certainly looks like a smorgasbord—we’re talking a Vegas-style, heartburn-inducing buffet of epic proportions. Check it out after the jump.

'The Handmaid's Tale': Take A First Look At Hulu's Margaret Atwood Adaptation Starring Elisabeth Moss

Earlier this year I reread Margaret Atwood’s speculative fiction masterwork The Handmaid’s Tale. It had been a while, but I was struck by how prescient and immediate and current the 1985 novel felt. People are fond of debating which fictional dystopia we’re going to wind up with—the frontrunners are always George Orwell’s 1984 and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (though the current landscape certainly feels like a synthesis of the two).

First 'John Wick 2' Photo Shows Keanu Reeves And His Dog Out For A Stroll

Losing a pet is traumatic. For those of us who will never have kids, it’s as close to losing a child as we’ll ever get. It sent John Wick on kill-crazy rampage in the movie of the same name. But, like for all of us, the time comes to move on, and in the first image John Wick: Chapter Two, it looks like the former-assassin-turned-unretired-dog-avenger has done just that.

Jean-Claude Van Damme's Amazon Series 'Jean-Claude Van Johnson' Is Going To Be The Greatest Show Ever

This week, Jean-Claude Van Damme teams up with Amazon do deliver what is sure to be your favorite new show, Jean-Claude Van Johnson. Starring JCVD poking fun at himself, produced by Ridley Scott, and with a delightfully ridiculous premise, I’m 100% game, and taking a look at a new collection of photos ups my excitement level even more.

'The Raid' Star Iko Uwais Punches And Kicks His Way Through These 'Headshot' Photos

He had a bit part in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Raid has become a modern action classic, and hardcore fans of badass cinema laud him as one of the preeminent movie martial artists of the modern era, but Indonesian star Iko Uwais is way, way underrated. Anything he does is a must-watch, and that includes his latest, Headshot. It’s even better that he’s teaming up with the Mo Brothers (Killers, Macabre), and a slew of punchy, kicky new photos just washed up on the internet to pummel us about the head and neck.

'Arrival' Photos: Your First Look At Denis Villeneuve's Alien Invasion Drama

Before he dives deep into Blade Runner 2, Denis Villeneuve is splashing around in the science fiction pool with the alien invasion drama Arrival. We still don’t know a ton about the picture, but we’ve got our first look at stars Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner thanks to two new photos.

Check Out The Trailer, Photos, And Poster For Na Hong-Jin's Cannes Bound Thriller 'The Wailing'

Na Hong-jin may not be as familiar as his countrymen Park Chan-wook, Bong Joon-ho, and Kim Jee-woon. But when it comes to grim, bad-as-hell South Korean thrillers, he’s near the top of the heap alongside those distinguished gentlemen. He doesn’t get name dropped like he should, but The Chaser and The Yellow Sea are two of the best suspenseful, gritty actioners out of that country in a while—Park, Bong, and Kim have expanded beyond South Korea’s borders to varying degrees, but Na is holding it down for the time being. He hasn’t made a movie in a few years, but he’s back with The Wailing (Goksung), which looks right up my alley, and has a fantastic new trailer (okay, it’s been out for a bit, but it’s new to me). Take a look.

'Kickboxer: Vengeance' Gets Some New Pictures And A Silly Hairdo

If the idea Kickboxer: Vengeance, a reboot of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 1989 classic Kickboxer, simply one of greatest movies ever made, sounds like blasphemy, I think we’ll get along just fine. Still, it’s happening whether we like it or not, and we’ve got some new looks at the cast.

Check Out These New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Photos, Plus New Kylo Ren Details

As of yesterday, we know that we’re not going to see any new footage of Star Wars: The Force Awakens—not a trailer or anything else—come out of D23 this weekend (I'm hoping for some Rogue One information, or maybe they'll confirm this or this). But don’t worry if that quick snipped of new footage the other day left you starving for more, because this morning arrived with a bunch of new photos to peruse.
