'Commando 2' Trailer: Vidyut Jamwal Kicks Everyone In The Face

Holy fuck balls yes! I’m admittedly not well-versed when it comes to Indian action cinema. Part of it is access, but most of it is that I’m lazy and super backed up on movies I need to watch in general. I’ve seen a few of the Dhoom movies and a handful of the more widely known, readily available titles, but Sweet Baby Jesus, I need to see Commando 2: The Black Money Trail when it comes out because this new trailer is bad ass. Not one-word badass, two-word bad ass. There has to be a pause in there, that’s how badass this is.

Big ups to Screen Anarchy for bringing this trailer into my life when I didn’t even know it was something I desperately needed. Commando 2 is, as you probably guessed, a sequel, a follow-up to 2013’s Commando: One Man Army, which I now also need to watch in a bad, bad way.

From what we see in this Commando 2 trailer, if there’s any justice, model-turned-cinematic-face-kicker Vidyut Jamwal is going to be the world’s next big martial arts crush. Seriously, I could watch this dude bounce around and club goons in the head all day long. He certainly has the skills to to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Iko Uwais and Tony Jaa—the type of movie badasses who make action fans slobber just by hearing their names.

Black money in India has been a hot topic in the news over the last few years, and it appears that it’s become frequent fodder for action movies, which sounds damn near perfect. Here’s the official synopsis for Commando 2: The Black Money Trail:
India’s most wanted Black Money agent Vicky Chaddha gets arrested in Malaysia and is kept in a safe house by the Malaysian authorities along with his wife. A team of four is being sent to Malaysia to bring them to India. Apart from the growth of inter-personal relationships, the mission comprising major action sequences, has quite a few twists & turns on it’s way. How Karan (Vidyut Jammwal) uses his brain and brawn to recover all the laundered black money, forms the rest of the story.
That’s about right for an action flick where a guy pummels his way through the criminal underworld.

Directed by Deven Bhojani, Reliance Entertainment releases Commando 2: The Black Money Trail opens worldwide on March 3. I can't tell if that includes the U.S. or not, but fingers crossed.
